Andronaco Industries Expands its Total Systems Approach in Flow Control and Fluid Management with Acquisition of Diamond Fiberglass Systems and Services

Victoria, TX JUNE 2024- Andronaco Industries, a leading provider of corrosion-resistant flow control solutions, is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of Diamond Companies – Diamond Fiberglass, a leading designer and manufacturer of fluid management vessels and tanks, and Diamond Services, a leading industrial services business that focuses on non-metallic services.

This acquisition builds upon Andronaco Industries’ strong technical capabilities and diverse portfolio, enabling end-to-end solutions in the most challenging corrosive environments. The business will be rebranded Diamond Fiberglass Systems and Services, an Andronaco Industries Company.

Andronaco Industries is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance specialty polymer and composite-engineered fluid management products for demanding applications. With manufacturing facilities in Michigan, Texas, and France spanning a combined 600,000 square feet, we produce or assemble virtually every mechanical component for process flow applications that require significant corrosion-resistant properties.

Unlike our competitors, we provide a broad portfolio of products including pipe and fittings, expansion joints, valves, piping accessories, hoses, hose accessories, pumps, and tanks and offer multiple materials of construction.

DIAMOND FIBERGLASS RELOCATES WASHINGTON PIPE
MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS TO VICTORIA, TEXAS.

Victoria, TX, February 19, 2019 — Diamond Fiberglass, a leading fabricator of engineer-to-order fiberglass reinforced plastic (“FRP”) vessels and pipe announced today that it is relocating its Burlington, Washington pipe manufacturing operations into its Victoria, Texas manufacturing facility.

Diamond Fiberglass acquired the assets of Fibrex Corporation in March of 2017 and continued operations under a two-year facility lease. “The Fibrex asset acquisition and Burlington pipe operations were a key contributor to our success over the past two years.” stated Don Porr, President of Diamond Fiberglass. “During this time period, we successfully unified the Fibrex IntegraLine™ pipe product with our other offerings, and completed many complex, custom FRP pipe projects on-time and on-budget for our customers.”

Porr continued, “The relocation provides many benefits to Diamond’s customers. It will allow us to co-locate the pipe manufacturing with our field service and installation team, Diamond Services. It will also allow us to reduce both overhead and freight costs, which will make the IntegraLine™ pipe more competitive in key markets.”

The relocation is expected to be completed within the next three months.

Diamond Fiberglass Announces Closing of Asset Acquisition of Fibrex Corporation.

Victoria, Texas – March 20, 2017 — Diamond Fiberglass, a leading ASME RTP-1 certified manufacturer of custom engineered-to-order Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic vessels today announced the closing of the asset acquisition of Fibrex Corporation., a composite chemical pipe, header systems and duct manufacturer. Fibrex will be integrated into Diamond Fiberglass. Terms of the asset deal were not disclosed.

“The addition of Fibrex to Diamond Fiberglass’ portfolio of custom, engineer-to-order composite equipment represents another important strategic expansion for our company. For over 34 years, Fibrex has earned a reputation for producing superior quality composite equipment. The acquisition fits well with Diamond Fiberglass’ existing markets and more importantly our culture of providing solutions oriented, high quality composite fabrications, ” said Don Porr, President of Diamond Fiberglass.

Porr continues, “The addition of the Fibrex product line, including the IntegraLine™ and IntegraHeader™ products will supplement our growing need for FRP piping systems. These products will benefit our customers who seek a single source supply for the design, fabrication and field installation of FRP/GRP engineered pipe.”

Fibrex will continue to fabricate from its current location in Burlington, WA with the same experienced production management and staff. Corporate functions will be moved to Victoria, Texas.

The acquisition supports the transition of Fibrex’ retiring owner, Rick Watkins, who started the company in 1982. “Fibrex has developed a reputation of quality, reliability, and performance in the aggressive chemical, chlor/alkali, power and pulp and paper industries. I am very pleased that such a respected FRP fabricator has acquired Fibrex’s assets and plans to keep the operations continuing,” said Watkins.
