We are proud to announce that we have received our RTP-1 re-certification from ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
One of only a few FRP fabricators to attain this certification, Diamond utilizes rigorous shop procedures, documentation requirements and quality assurance procedures to qualify.
RTP-1 certification is an independent acknowledgement that our new facility meets the most stringent composite vessel standards in the industry.
ASME RTP-1 certification is an excellent way for customers to separate the industry leaders from the followers. Some competitors claim their shop is capable and equipment meets RTP-1 standards, but that isn’t the same as demonstrating the ability through a company-wide third party audit.
We first received certification in 2009 and while audited annually under the program, we must also re-certify every three years. Our new physical plant was re-designed from the ground up, but our engineering, fabrication, quality assurance and personnel qualification procedures remained the same as previously approved so the latest audit went smoothly.
Congratulations to Diamond’s engineering, production and quality assurance teams in achieving this accomplishment. Great job!
